Breaking Down Barriers is a feature story I for Ultrarunning Magazine. It tells the story of my experience at Footprints Running Camp, and what it was like for me, a vegan and animal rights advocate, to be paired with a cattle ranch researcher and hunter as I developed a climate action project.

This multimedia feature story for Roads & Kingdoms and Slate’s Global Dispatch documents how a series of ambitious dam projects in Southeast Asia will transform the lives of tens of millions of people. I co-wrote this story with Gus Greenstein, and produced the videos within it as well.
